Where Dragon Ball Z: Budokai had characters up to the Android Saga and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 had characters up to the Kid Buu Saga, Budokai 3 has characters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Z movies.
